Marty: Our children and grandchildren are planning a celebration for our 50th Wedding Anniversary this Memorial Day weekend. All of Uncle Kenny’s brothers and sisters and their spouses will be invited, but sorry to say, we will be unable to invite all of their children and grandchildren. Our dinner party will be Saturday, May 29, 2010 and I believe those invites will go out by mid April. Teri and Kirk will also have a cookout on Sunday, May 30th for all the aunts and uncles who travel in from TN, SC, IN, etc. We thought your parents knew of the Anniversary plans — sort of like Uncle Jim and Aunt Joanne’s celebration last year. Check with your Mom and Dad; we had told them of this. Love Aunt Virginia (and Uncle Kenny)

I’m sure I am not the only one who didn’t know.. and with this site being up for us to communicate, I’m sure others will get the news this way, and not be wondering. I do have a suggestion though.. since the last reunion a lot of the kids and grandkids were suggesting we take the reunion to Vegas. How about all the kids and Grandkids take a flight to Vegas for this years reunion.?!

Hi Again Marty! I think all of the brothers and sisters (Moms and Dads) knew; I have talked with your dad since posting our comment and he said he’d be sure to tell you also of our anniversary plans. But, as for all the “cousins” or grandchildren, we cannot speak for them except we know(hope) all of our kids will be at our anniversary party if you are still wanting it Memorial Day weekend. They are paying for it so I think they will be with us. (haha) Perhaps you are talking a different weekend …. we cannot comment on that and do not really know how many of them read the Blog. Love again, Aunt Virginia (and Uncle Kenny)
